- How long have you been playing in DFS?
I first started playing in DFS sometime in 2013; I left for a long while due to some events that occurred. I've been a lot more active since the start of this year though.
- Why do you want to become a moderator?
I've had a lot of fun here ever since I became more active, and I generally enjoy helping people. At the same time, I'm pretty ruthless when it comes to people who aim to cause trouble in the community.
- Are you currently an admin/moderator elsewhere?
Yes. However, I'm a lot less active on the other server of which I'm an admin on, so I'm not stretching myself thin.
- Past experiences as an admin/mod
First stint as an admin was on a small achievement server way back in 2010; met some of my best friends on Steam there.
Donated for admin here back in 2013; a couple of incidents discouraged me from carrying on. Basically, this was my first role as a serious admin but I didn't realise the whole scale of responsibility that I had to take; I was rightfully banned for a few hours for abusing my responsibility as an admin, which did make me feel bad about myself, so I took a break from DFS to gather admin experience elsewhere.
Applied for admin on HmX in 2014; a lot more restricted on commands than here, which helped me to concentrate on making sure the servers were kept clean and fun for everyone. Very tight-knit community, helped me get out of a very dark point in my life.
- Include any additional information that could help you
Throughout the times that I have been admin here, I have become more careful with how I handle my responsibilities. I have taken care to be more welcoming with people over time - generally I refrain from interacting with others due to social anxiety and some other stuff. There were a couple of times where I became frustrated towards players, and one time it was so bad I needed to disconnect to calm myself down; usually I only ever get frustrated with myself. Anyway, I'm a very honest person, and the experience I've gathered over this year should help me prepare for the potential next step.

Hope this goes better than I think it will.
