I know I'm going to get a ton of hate for this but whatever.
Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric
Now before you say how much of a sonic fanboy I am let me set things clear. I'm not like one of those 10 years olds who scream "LIEK SANIC BUM TO BE A TRU SANIC FAN!" on negative reviews of the game, I will admit the game is flawed and could have had more developemt time (plus also not make it part of the nintendo exclusive deal and have it release on platforms that support the Cryengine). In all honesty though I don't exactly see why people are considering Sonic Boom worst than Sonic 06. At least in Sonic Boom I can control the character i'm playing as, the characters act like what you would expect in the series (biggest example being eggman when comparing both his performances in 06 and Boom), there were some jokes that actually had me laugh, and it's not nearly as frustrating as 06 due to the infinite lives the game has. Plus some of the stages in the game I actually had quite a bit of fun on. The only thing I can agree that 06 does better is the music but honestly I was expecting that since it was done by the same person who did the soundtrack for Sonic 3D Blast: Saturn Version. Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric is a flawed game no doubt and I would rather play Sonic Generations, Sonic Colours, Sonic Adventure (screw you egoraptor) and the 3DS Sonic Boom games by Sanzaru, but I would much rather play this game over Sonic 06, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic and the Secret Rings and especially Sonic Lost World. I don't exactly reccommend you get the game but if you really want to try this game then I suggest playing the eShop demo first and then seeing if you can find a copy on sale for around £5-£15. But if you really want a game for the Sonic Boom TV series then I suggest Shattered Crystal or the upcoming Fire and Ice on 3DS to suit your needs. And before anyone asks yes I do like the Sonic Boom TV series and have some hope for Sonic Boom Fire and Ice.
I don't know why everyone hates this game, it's just good, the only thing people hate it is because of the price tag..
People hate it now because they slapped on a price tag for absolutely no reason, i didn't get to install it on steam and now i'm locked away from playing it until i decide to give them my money to continue playing a game that's supposed to be free.
R.I.P, it has been shut down since but back when it was up alot of people seemed to dislike it, while it had some bullshit mechanics around the paying for stuff area, it was a very enjoyable game with an artstyle similar to tf2 and a unique gameplay IMO.
There seems to be A LOT of hatred for the SONIC 4 games, but i love them for some reason, sure there are a few game-breaking glitches that were there at the beginning, they're gone however and i think it's a great experience, unlike most modern sonics this is a 2D game with a great soundtrack (Oil Desert act 1 and the Metal Sonic theme are among my favorite music soundtracks infact)
(canned laughter) This game is shoved aside because it's "boring", and infact it's used as a joke most of the time it's mentioned, however 2-3 years ago when players were still very active (i'm not sure now) it was quite an entertaining game with humorous falling sound effects, i genuinely liked Ricochet, however HL1 based games seem to glitch on my WIN7/WIN10 now so i can't check it out once again.
Like its predecessor, this game has quite a few bugs that randomly happen along with hilariously bad lip syncing from the character models, both of these issues have been put in light by Game Grumps and as such the series are absolutely hated. However i'd like to say i enjoyed this game alot when i had the chance to play it on gamecube, it was a fun experience, and the soundtrack is one of the best in the sonic games.
