How long have you been on DFS?/When have you started playing on DFS?
I've don't know when exactly I started playing on DFS, but I know that it spans at least 4-5 years.

Why do you want to become a staff member?
I've been playing with this community for quite a while now and I'm thankful that I had most of my fun here. I'd like to give back by contributing and helping with DFS moving forward to the future.

Past experiences as a staff member
~~As mentioned earlier: I'm currently a JDM at the r/DDLC Discord server for 3-4 months now. I have a common understanding and knowledge about the basics of moderating a Discord server.~~ At the time of typing this, I was promoted to a Senior Discord Moderator almost a month ago. I've been moderating for 5 months now.

How active are you on DFS? If you're accepted, how active can you be on DFS?
Since I'm been doing my finals this year, I haven't been able to be as active as I used to be, including a period of one year not spend on the server because of school related stuff. However, I was extremely active on Discord since I use it as an timewaster when I'm done with school related work. I'm expecting to have more time and a frequent activity after my finals and that's likely to be even more when I'm accepted. At the time of typing this too, I've passed my finals and have an absurdly long break.

Have you ever been banned from DFS before? If so, why?
I do not recall being banned, but I've been muted before for overspamming and have being gagged for mentioning another server(falls under the no promotion rule) lasting around a day.

I've been diagnosed with autism as a child, but I think it'll not be an obstacle. My PC is decent, so it should be able to handle Discord no problem.

Format's pretty good. The reasoning isn't cliche. Level is not necessary if you're applying for discord moderator. All looks good, if I didn't have my concerns.

You've already dedicated yourself to another discord which can be a bit conflicting if it's an active one, that means your attention is most likely on that discord. The second concern is your life, because if you have finals aned exams coming up, you shouldn't sign up until you're positive you don't have anything that'll become an obstacle for your application and time. The final and more noteworthy is the activity. While you do say you're going to be more active after the exams and finals are over, it doesn't give me any confidence that you don't spend time on the discord server if you proclaim you have time to be on them after school, and judging from your consistency is on it, you're not that active as you disappear for a day to weeks and then to months which doesn't help you make a reputation. And being accepted as a discord moderator is far from trustful, because several people promise to be more active after being accepted to then show that they don't show the expectations they had promised the staff. I'm sorry, Bock, even if you're a comedian and a nice guy to talk to, I just don't feel like you're fit for the discord role with all these hinderence. But I wish you good luck anyways, because there's always a chance to improve.

I can definitely see where you're coming from.

The Discord I'm currently modding has a lot of moderators due to how huge it is but apart from me there is only one more mod from Western-Europe and she also has a job to do, which only leaves me as to keep an eye out. This can be an hinderance if I do become a Discord Mod here.

The timing of this app is indeed piss poor since the finals are 2 weeks clear.

My activity, however, is something I want to drastically improve back to being a frequent here again and I feel becoming a Discord Mod might give a massive boost with it since I have something to watch over daily(which is also the case with the r/DDLC Discord.)

Thanks for wishing me luck though Blank and I'll try my best to improve.

Format checks out. You have no negative remarks on your record, which is always a good sign. You're friendly, really relaxing to talk to and probably one of the more sweet souls around here.

My only real concern would be your current activity on the discord server which is lacking a bit for my taste, but I can't really judge it all that well.

To give some counterparts that Blank gave in his response:

- It's not impossible to moderate 2 discord servers at the same time. One of our staff is also a discord moderator of a way larger community and capacity, and he's doing just fine. Besides, there isn't much going on in our discord server eitherway. Punishments happen very rarely (which I'm glad about). So I'm confident in Bock to achieve the same balance.

- You (Bock) said at the time of writing, finals come around. Considering that the process of selecting a staff takes longer than 2 weeks anyway, I do not see an issue with this at all.

- Promising to be more active is a sure step stone, although it just lies in human nature to give it your all when you get something you want. When it comes to moderator position, it's no different so I welcome your enthusiasm.

Again, your only real issue is currently more on the activity side but you now have plenty of time to show that energy. With that said, I wish you much luck and much fun the upcoming weeks!

Your prior experience in moderating a Discord server is very useful, but as mentioned by other staff in this thread, at the time you made this application, your activity wasn't at a good enough standard for the role.
Since then, it seems that you've started to become more active recently, which is good. Saying you'll be more active if you get accepted doesn't really cut it, but thanks to this recent activity, we've chosen to keep your application under review.

If you remain consistently active, then you may be accepted at a later date.

You seemed to have a lot of past time experiences of moderating a Discord server, you seem like a friendly and calm person to talk to. However, activity was needed some improvements but as of writing this, it got a bit better like it was back then. Wish you the best of luck Bock.

The fact you already have experience as a Discord Moderator is a very nice thing to have, you seem like a friendly person whenever I see you talk on the servers or on the public discord, and you're very active on the server ~~early in the morning as well which is surprising~~. I think you'd be an excellent Discord Moderator, with your experience and good activity I personally think you fit the role.
Like Cray said, I'm sure it's possible to be a moderator of 2 communities if you manage it well.

You pretty much know what this server is since you've been here for 4-5 years. With 115 levels under your belt, I'd say that you're pretty active even though you did take a lil' break for a while.

The reason is short but honest, saying that you want to help the server grow and improve with your contribution, which is good.

It's nice that you're a Moderator on another Discord server, and I'm pretty sure that looking over these two should be difficult at the start, but slowly becomes easy.

It's not a big deal when it comes to stuff that happens in the real world since that always comes first, so don't worry.

Having knowledge of how to moderate a Discord server thanks to DDLC, and maintaining a nice a friendly attitude, I'd be more than happy to give you a shot at the role.
