I would like to keep DFS a fun place to be, where people respect each other and the rules, as well as the little things such as giving people resizes and such. That and it'd be great to contribute to my favourite video game server of all time. It would also be really nice to aid the responsibility of the other staff members too. Hopefully if I am able to land the position, I will try my hardest to keep people in line while also letting them have fun and freedom, with people who want to cause trouble being quickly dealt with, preferably without having to resort to things like bans, unless the behaviour is severe or the warnings are ignored and behaviours repeated. I'm not afraid of punishing people, but I don't want to be too hasty

-Past experiences as a staff member

In my experiences as staff in other things, I'd always try to please people, encourage the following of rules and punish wrongful repeated behaviour. I prefer to remind an offender about the rules and get them to change their ways, before moving on to things like mutes, then kicks and then bans. I've managed to get people to follow the rules this way, but if they don't listen, I can and will punish them. One important thing I learned was that you have to be neutral in your dealings as a moderator and take an unbiased look at things when you enforce the rules. What you think of someone should never dictate whether or not you treat them better or worse than someone who has the same on-server behaviour. Quite a few guys have been confronting and aggressive to the staff where I moderate but you just don't let them get to you and give them whatever response the role requires. It is pretty funny to see some of the insults they throw at you though. Another thing to note is that your role shouldn't stop you from being you. people are more comfortable with a staff member who's humble and relatable than some Judge Dredd emotionless enforcer

I took a break a while ago but now I'm on pretty much daily

-Have you ever been banned from DFS before? If so, why?

I haven't been banned, kicked, muted, warned or gagged at all

I love pleasing all my friends on DFS, and i hope contributing to the server like this could help that. I'm someone who loves to aid people and I feel I'd be able to keep watch for troublemakers on the server and deal with them accordingly. I also like to think that I'm a good player. I like playing to win, but I also admire when enemy players do the same. I hope this attitude will keep me unbiased and calm-headed in potential duty. I also really like helping people and try to keep matches as wholesome as I can (Unless I'm having a bad day in which I prefer to play solo games until it blows over so I can come back as wholesome as I can be)
