How long have you been on DFS?/When have you started playing on DFS?
Since summer 2012/2013. So roughly 5 or 6 years now.

Why do you want to become a staff member?
I never stopped caring about DFS. The main reason I had such a hard time coming back and finding a will to play is mostly due to a lack of interest in Team Fortress 2 and the fear or repercussions. The drama around my demotion was a mess and I have been afraid to be on the server, scared of being hated and generally unwelcomed. But I want to bury that thought and go back to who I was. An admin, who helped the server keep order, helped the staff with testing and various other activities. I wish to come back to that. Help the staff, help the server, keep order and have fun with everyone on it, without messing stuff up or breaking any rules.

Not as of right now.

Past experiences as a staff member
I was an Admin on DFS for over a year until my demotion in 2018.

How active are you on DFS? If you're accepted, how active can you be on DFS?
Activity as of right now is quite low. This is still due to my lack of interest and fear of hate in DFS. I can be as active as several hours daily. Mostlikely, I will be online about 3 to 5 times a week, for up to 3 hours. I will also join if there are no staff present, even if the servers are quite filled.

Have you ever been banned from DFS before? If so, why?
Yes, once. It was all the way back in 2013, where I got into a fight with one of the veteran admins. Sparing the details, there were mistakes made on both sides and the issue has been resolved long ago.

Due to my sleeping habbits, I am able to be active on both EU and US servers. I can also be summoned for any needs, whenever I am online.

If applying to be a Discord moderator, make sure to include Discord related certain informations, like if you've moderated a Discord server before, how active you're on Discord, your Discord username and tag etc etc.

You've been on DFS for a long time and spent a fair stint on the staff team with a very good level to back it up.

Problem is, your recent activity is extremely poor, from firsthand experience and your own admission. Promising to be more active does not cut it. That's a major sticking point for me, so I'm going to have to say no.

Also, please stop asking for applications to be taken down only to immediately make more. It just tells us that you aren't taking this seriously. Please don't waste our time.

Let's say hypothetically you are given another chance at being a moderator. Considering your past history of quickly changing your mind and wanting to abandon the server as a whole, how do we know the same thing won't happen again? Being a moderator means being committed to the task, not wanting to do it on a whim and jumping ship once you start to receive criticism.

Very little time has passed since your last application and I worry that history may repeat itself. What I'm asking is for you to prove us wrong, to show us that you have changed for the better and that we can trust your word on it. Showing us that you're improving yourself is much more effective than simply telling us.

My main problem and the reason for my instability as of late was mainly due to the conditions I want to apply with. Eventhough I have been reassured that hostility will no longer be a problem to me making an app, it clearly was otherwise. I did and still do fear possibly being targeted for the past. My first app got taken down in a moment of grief for my father's death. The second one I wanted down, because I simply got the feeling, that I would be entirely unwelcomed on the server. The third one now is with the hope of bringing a spark back to DFS.
As for my commitment, I shall give an example. In late august, around my previous demotion, I was in danger of losing my job and future. In a deal against my will, I had to visit a psychiatric clinic, far away from my normal life and family. I hated the idea, but am committed to finishing the apprenticeship. I said yes, went there for a week and was released with the guarantee of not being in danger of suicide.

With all the back and forth, it's hard to find a good middle ground on how you truly feel about not only DFS, but also yourself. This is the 3rd application by now, which already let a bitter taste.

But assuming you do want to be moderator again, ignoring the past, you wouldn't be fit for moderator position as for now. You activity has been too low for the past few months, and you have to pick up in speed if you really want to have this position back.

Even then, I sadly have to stay neutral. I would like to explain in a bit lengthy text why.
Now that you are still unsure about your role in DFS, I get a strong sense of feeling that you would like to play something important here again, which is admirable. But, consider. Do you really want this? I am not talking about necessarily activity. Does your mental health keep up in pace with your own life? Do you have enough to balance both your own life and this moderation position?

The past where you have been moderator doesn't show that, to a degree. We had multiple discussions with you about nearly everything and wanted to lead you to the right direction, yet it kept happening. Rules you have enforced that we haven't even established, being sometimes trigger happy, having problems in arguments. You never could really keep your cool if something was against you, and I am not only referring to your reasoning you have provided why that is the case. It happened too often for that.

I want you to take a really good look and think about it twice, thrice, and ask yourself if you really want this and can do this. I mean, really.

Your application is good, but this is your 3rd one now, so I don't know what you're going to do with this one.

Your level is qute good, but you seem to be quite lacking in activity, which is what we're all concerned with. I'm still glad to see that everything has worked out for you, but if you want to be a Moderator here, you need to dedicate some more time on the server. You were a good Admin in the past, and I'm fairly sure that you would still be a good Moderator now, even if your attitudes towards certain stuff needs a bit of tweaking.

All in all, I'd be staying the middle ground here. Best of luck to you!

You have a great DFS experience overall, used to be a staff before and know how the rules work well enough.

Your current activity seems to be a bit too low compared to before though, you could try to improve on your server activity a little more.

The application will stay under review until the staff discuss the outcome of the application further enough.

After studying your activity for a while, I’ll sadly have to say no on this.

You promised to be more activity when others couldn’t which I have yet to see happen and do that 3-5 times a week you promised as well. It just doesn’t feel like you can make the cut if you only join for one map and leave to play other games from what I’ve gathered.

Quoting from what Nevi said; can we really trust you to not repeat history? That itself I find unassuring.

I’m really sorry, Gold, but with the current state of what’s going on, I deem you unworthy until you can prove us that you take the spot of a mod to do what you’re supposed to do.
