How long have you been on DFS?/When have you started playing on DFS?

I joined around March 15, 2016 but, started to become a lot more active late 2017. At the current time it would be 2 years and 292 days since that first day.

Which region are you from?

Midwestern part of the United States.

Which position are you applying for? (Server Moderator, Developer, Discord Moderator)

I'm applying to become a Server Moderator.

My current level is 266.

Why do you want to become a staff member?

I want to become a staff member because of my activeness and because of the help I can give out to others. Even now there's still times where one of the servers may go unmoderated throughout the day and into the later hours which helps because I only play tf2 for the most part. I'm always willing to help someone in need be it information or figuring something out. When it comes to punishments I will be swift and responsible when it comes to handing them out, while also contributing as much as I can to the still growing staff team. When it comes down to what may become a fight I will always attempt to stop the escalation and make sure nothing demeaning happens.

How active are you on DFS? If you're accepted, how active can you be on DFS?

When it comes to activeness for the most part I only play on the weekends, unless I have time because I heavily focus on school during the week. However, I may be able to bump my hours up even more. The time I play being usually 6-8am to 8-9pm in UTC-6 sometimes longer but, usually around those exact times.

Have you ever been banned from DFS before? If so, why?

Never.

I'm not the kind of person who gets angry/salty and enjoy competitive for the test of wits and not for the whole winning aspect. As stated above helping others is a passion for me that I enjoy doing. I also hold high regards when it comes to self-improvement so I can be better prepped for the future and be molded by my experiences which helps me deal with certain situations better.

Your activity checks out, level 233 is incredibly high even for normal standards and I see you around fairly often. The reason you have stated lacks a bit of punch - you can always be a helping member of the community w/o needing moderation tools. Your application is also a bit too short for my taste.

Currently leaning in towards yes.

Silver, my man, you're one of the best people that I've met here! :>

2016 is a great amount of time to get used to the server, and you are extremely active from what I have seen. 233 is an amazing level, which shows that you are dedicated to this server. Just so you know, being a Moderator takes a lot more than being active, since you will need to keep an eye on people to see if they don't break any rules, but you can still help them out.

Also, you don't have to be on the servers 24/7, so don't worry about only being active on the weekends, as long as you're on regularly, it's fine. You say that you don't get angry most of the time, which is a pretty good trait to have, since you'd be able to keep your cool and not jump to conclusions as quick.

All in all, I'm vouching for a big yes. I wish you luck!

Where do I even begin? Oh I know!

The format is perfect, even if the questions aren't made in bold, activity is true, but also a bit different from what you state. You're almost always on 24/7 from whenever I get on, and level can back it up, even if it is quite a lot, but also reasonable, for someone only being on DFS for 2 years and 254 days. Though the reasoning is a bit lacking for what Cray have mentioned, but I will quote: You can always help moderate the server without moderator tools, but in a smaller degree and can always help the staff catch rulebreakers with the magical command, /calladmin. But overboard moderating (backseat moderating) is usually when you proclaim you're in the staff team and is taking up the spot of a moderator, especially when a moderator is on. VIPs is a different scenario, but I don't want to make this a long essay, so-

Your level is extremely impressive, especially since it's mostly been since last 2017. That gives a good impression of activity and firsthand, I can say that I see you on the servers regularly, so I think you'd definitely be well suited to the role in that regard.

However, your reason for wanting to become a staff member is lacking. You don't need to be on the staff team in order to be a helpful person. I suggest that you put some more thought into what being a Server Moderator entails, you're definitely active enough with plenty of experience on DFS, but it's important to know what you would be getting into and right now, that part of your application doesn't show much appreciation for the responsibility of the role.

Your level and activity are impressive. Your attitude is excellent when it comes to dealing with unpleasant things. Although I've seen you jump to conclusions a little early, I think that just how mildly you do it and how little you do it could make you an almost perfect fit for the job, if you work on it. Your reasoning is incredible, and is the mindset that a moderator should have. That being said, I think you would do well as a staff member!

Impressive activity and level, you haven't caused much (if any) problems in the past as far as I know, and your application is decent even though the reason could be improved a little bit as others have stated previously. You have a good attitude and I think you'd be a great staff member.

Your activity and level is pretty good, you seem to have to have a lot of experience in DFS in general and seem to have a clear history in terms of rule-breaking as well.

Although, as Limey mentioned, your reason to become a staff member is a little lacking, it feels like you could improve on your application more.

Your dedication and activity is pretty impressive overall though, I'd recommend improving the application and your reason to become a staff more if possible.

You're very active on the servers from what I've seen and I've never encountered any instances in the past where you had a bad or hateful nature. We need more people from the US with your kind of activity and attitude.

You seem to be really active on DFS in general, and also seem to know the rules work & apply around the servers.

You also seem to have modified and perfected your application after my reply, which I really like.

The staff overall seem to have positive opinions on you, and I know that you have great experience with DFS in general.
