Since Mr Creataurus suggested Rumbi the vacuum bot before me, I'm gonna suggest something almost equally as good.
To go along well with your subcon Hat Kid you unlocked, I suggest Roughpatch! The cute little ghost cat that was scrapped from a hat in time.
Roughpatch is a small little kitty guy in a bush. A good size for a pet, I reckon. He's cute and looks like he'd fit right in to the server.
I also had an odd idea. Given that this update should be out around Christmas, how about we Christmas-fy... Christmitise... Whatever, and make him more festive? How about we cover the bush in baubles, holly, tinsel and other Christmas tree decorations? He'd be like a little Christmas tree cat!
Poor guy might not be in his full game, but maybe he can find a home at DFS?
Even if this isn't accepted, I gladly appreciate the fact you took the time to read this suggestion. Good luck with DFS!

When I was Trying to get ideas, The first thing that has gotten into mind was PIZZA
...
Guess that I'm taking creativity to that idea

Anyways... The idea of the "Pet" would be a floating pizza, The height would be next to the player's head.
just to not make the pizza very boring , the pizza can do floating animation (goes down and up slowly) or a rotating animation from only one direction , shown by the Epic Arrows, the pizza can be little tilted, shown in the next image in Side (don't bulli, i'm reserving my skills ok)
Last thing about the pet is the effects available(you know, the unusual effects at the pet) , by default would be the next in hungry meter
The next mentioned effects are shown in tf2 wiki, available as "UNUSUAL"
low percentage: Massed flies
Mid percentage: nothing, or Smoking effect
High percentage: Sunbeams
This is the most RandomEpic Idea I ever suggested (Even though it's christmas, The movie home alone only remind me of this).
any questions about this would be interesting, lol.
oh yeah, if you ask where i got that pizza image from, I got it from a garry's mod addon, feel free to check it out, but probably it needs permission at the author in order to use it for situations like this
