Initially I was going to wait out this ban, but mulling it over prompts me to make this thread.

While I'm not one to typically rules lawyer, I believe I have to in this case, as a ban for "annoying others" on a server with micspams, no limit on character voice commands, and items designed to make noise and be disruptive is flawed.
Let's first go over what led up to this three day ban.
1. I dropped a total of 93 Secret Saxtons on the UK server, while micspamming "Blood Sugar" by Pendulum
2. I was kicked for "Spamming gifts."
3. I rejoined, and used a total of 6 megaphones, and a failed experiment, whilst saying "you cannot stop the spam"
4. I was banned for three days for the reason above.
While I can see the reason for a ban on a regular server, such as a jailbreak or vsh server, I cannot see how this can work with DFS's outlined rules.
Here is a list of all of DFS' outlinTed rules concerning spam:
"No repeated use of Binds, Lennies, Roleplaying in chat. (While these are allowed, if you're asked to stop, you should stop. You may get muted/gagged otherwise.) "
"No Michogging (Where a person says they're going to spam next, and you continue to spam after you're finished or another person starts to spam.)
"
"No Loud/Earrape Micspams (If it peaks the mic, then you probably shouldn't play it, you will most likely be muted or banned on the spot.)
"
"No Sexually Explicit Micspams
"
"No Heavy Static, Burping, or other related sounds on mic.
"
"No speaking on the mic if you're not old enough to (If you are told by staff members to stop talking and you do not, you will be muted.)"
In addition, DFS has a rule for "rules lawyering" (which I'm taking a risk by doing now), and it goes as follows.
"Trying to rule-lawyer and abuse any not covered gaps in a way that is obviously detrimental to others' enjoyment will be severely punished. Use common sense or ask a staff member if you're unsure about the validity of a certain action."
In the case of the Saxtons, there is a case to rule lawyer for two reasons.
1. The Saxtons are not detrimental to enjoyment of any kind. In fact, there is more of a case for Saxtons to be beneficial to enjoyment than anything.
Whenever a Secret Saxton is used, a random unique weapon or another Secret Saxton is dropped. Assuming that the server is averaging around 20-25 individuals, this means that a mass Saxton drop overall gives 4-5 unique items to all players present on the server, which when crafted, adds up to 2-ish scrap. By this logic, dropping Saxtons benefits everyone present on the server by either giving them new weapons to use, or by giving them a small amount of scrap, all for the low low cost of 0 dollars.
2. The validity of the action is well established.
I have done this in the past on DFS, specifically when Rasp, Heavich, and Afterstormer (I think) were on. Were any kicks dished out? None at all. Were any bans dished out? None whatsoever.
So why is it that now, dropping Saxtons over my own micspams suddenly grounds for a kick, and one of the two reasons for a ban?
The second point to be made is for the 6 megaphones and 1 failed experiment that were used
1. The megaphones are limited by a 5-10 second cooldown (I think, either way, you can't spam them fast),
This means that sounds played by the megaphone are way too intermittent to create any sort of din, unless working with others.
2. The question of designer's intent comes into question when the megaphones come into the picture.
Being that they are custom items on the server, with the sole purpose being to play a sound to the entire server, and using them frequently results in a ban, what's the true usage of megaphones? What is the designers intent? If they contradict the rules anyways, why keep them in the game entirely?
The whole situation surrounding the megaphones seems as if I've been punished for using a feature as intended on the server.
Before getting banned, I was told this by Blank.
"Megaphones count as overspam when someone is micspamming"
Really? What even is overspam then? Playing two sound effects over one another? Is calling for medic while someone is blasting dubstep overspam? What about duel minigames?
Even ignoring all of that, if such a thing is a rule, why isn't it clearly stated in the DFS rules? Surely someone has tried to use a megaphone while someone has been micspamming, right? If this is a special circumstance, why not add it to the rules instead of it being a vague corner of the law that nobody knows about or understands?
Things I admit I did wrong
-Yes, I was cocky.
-Yes, I did complain in the discord and break rule 10.
-Yes, I'm not completely innocent
-Yes, I do recognize that I was told to stop, but...
I didn't see it. In order to drop Secret Saxtons, one's inventory has to be open. In this menu, you cannot see the chat. Yes, I may have been told to stop, but the message didn't get through. Make of that what you want.
Either way, even if my appeal is approved or not (which it most likely won't considering I wrote a wall of text), I suggest the DFS staff update their rules in order to clear up any confusion over the use of items and spam. The current rules don't handle it well and leaves the personal opinions of moderators to decide things, rather than a code for the wellness of the community.
That's all, hope you didn't die in a word wall.
