How long have you been on DFS?/When have you started playing on DFS?

I cannot remember the exact day but I do know it was around in June 2017.

Which region are you from?

I'm from the United Kingdom.

Which position are you applying for?

I'm applying to become a moderator for the servers, well- I hope I can.

Your DFS level

Right now, I am level 135 (Could possibly be higher by the time everyone's threads have been approved/denied.)

Why do you want to become a staff member?

Just as any other staff members and I am sure you hear everyone say this a lot by now is because I want to catch any rule breakers who think they can do anything they please when there are no staff on the server, although- a lot of the time when i see people break the rules, that is when none of the staff are on and I can understand that other staff members might be busy with something else; so just like me and other members wanting to become part of the staff, we would all love to help the server and punish any rule breakers.

Nope.

Past experiences as a staff member

Never. But I do hope that I will get some great experience as a DFS staff member and I am looking forward to work for DFS.

How active are you on DFS? If you're accepted, how active can you be on DFS?

I used to be a lot on DFS and tf2 itself until I sunk myself in some RPGs but! I can be around 1-2+ hours in the weekdays and about 4+ hours in the weekends.

Have you ever been banned from DFS before? If so, why?

I have never been banned of DFS but I did get kicked one for attempted spawnkill when i first joined the server (i was around level 10 or so) and gagged twice, for spamming numbers in the chat (although it was just 3 messages in a row but I wont complain) and I was joking about on one of the staff's name because I thought it was funny but I deserved to get gagged for it, what I did was pretty dumb of me and lastly, got muted for overspamming once (it was one of those cases when two people played their spams at the same time and I was stubborn about it) but nonetheless, I didn't complain about being kicked, gagged and muted since I did deserve it so I waited out for them but I did learn my lesson so those things shall never happen again.

I'm a pretty laid back person most of the time, though sometimes a person could strike one of my nerves if they repeatedly do something which annoys a person (such as airblasting, shoving and etc) but other than that, I could be chill most of the time and such but when it comes to rule breakers, they will get a chance from me (a warning) before they get the boot (well that is if my application gets approved)

You seem to be quite active around the servers and can put in a decent amount of time in them, which is good. You also point out your past mistakes and own up to them, which shows you're a responsible person. You seem to know the attitude and responsibilities of a moderator, which is good.

Overall not a bad application, I think you'd do a decent job as a moderator. Best of luck!

Level and activity are amazing considering you made it to 100+ in only a year, although your mod application could use a slight amount of work as the formatting is somewhat hard to follow. Learning from your mistakes and becoming a better person from it, taking a laid-back approach, not jumping straight to punishments, and understanding the responsibilities of a mod are all great traits to have as a staff member regardless of experience.

However, someone being able to "strike a nerve" is somewhat worrying as that could interfere in reasonable judgement, possibly resulting in unfair punishments over minor offenses, which in turn doesn't look good on the rest of the staff team. That aside, since I've never seen or heard about any problems with you and the others are putting in good words, I'll vote yes as well.

Making it to Level 135 in just a year shows an excellent amount of activity and I can attest that I see you around quite a bit, and your reason for wanting to become a Server Moderator is very good. Even with spending time elsewhere as you mentioned, your activity is still very well suited to being a staff member.

It's good to see that you've reflected somewhat on your punishments and having checked the SourceBans logs you've been incident-free for the past six months, so I believe that you've made a change for the better and are much better at following the rules now. I'm also glad to see you're honest about some of your flaws - I would highly recommend trying to control your temper in incidents where something or someone gets on your nerves - angry outbursts aren't very professional, reflect poorly and can lead to unfair punishments. Aside from that, giving thought to how you'd enforce the rules shows you've put a lot of consideration into this.

Overall, I think you'd make a good addition to the staff team, best of luck!

Your activity as well as your level tell me you're quite active, and I've seen you on the servers a majority of the time I would join, so you've got me on that regard. I also appreciate you owning up to your own mistakes, that's another thing that we need more of around here. All in all I think this application has potential.
