Some recording i did got no sound at first (settings on something screwed over so it refused to record sound despite changing settings until i repopened fraps.)
steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198103133469/ STEAM_0:1:71433870 About 15 minutes of overspam & earrape intenionally because he thought no one cared about the rules. Was almost votebanned from the server only missing 2 players, reconnected to try to avoid it but eventually realized it was not possible to get around. did not get banned via voting nor did the votemute succeed while this happened.
Only got a small bit of overspam recorded after a mapchange & some recording with an awful framerate setting which i can upload later on if needed (it tried recording in 120 fps which ofc does not work).
While generic face isnt that severe in length it really doesnt help to spam over someone else just because they started a bit earlier or because someone else was previously overspamming.
I'd say 3 days for russian cat & 3 hours on generic face + someone higher up telling generic face to not overspam just because someone else was previously playing music or something (no idea what was going on as i just tabbed the game back up but decided to record it.) (Was more of an annoyance but figured it was worth mentioning.) Up too anyone else to give generic face something more then a warning.
I muted Generic yesterday for overspamming. Pretty disappointed that he continued to do this after I left, so I've banned him for a day. I've also banned Russian Cat for 3 days due to him breaking multiple rules - overspamming and earrape, which is especially unacceptable.
Just thought I'd ask, is there any way for a votemute/-kick/-ban target to not see the vote to make escaping harder and possibly even to avoid flamewars from spreading out?

I can see that as being somewhat counter productive.
While it may prevent flamewars sometime yes, the target of the votemute/ban being able to SEE they are being votemuted/banned would give them a hint of "hey, this thing Im doing is upsetting people. Perhaps I should stop." If they weren't able to see they were being targeted, there would likely be higher cases of them continuing on their merry way to upset people.
tl;dr Votemute/ban target being able to see they are being targeted acts as a deterrent of sorts and increases chances that they'll stop toxic behaviour.
Yeah, saw Generic Face doing the exact same shit on both USA and EU servers. he does this pretty much once somebody constantly and it's every time he's on the server. although it seems struts seems to have taken care of the situation.
but if the problem still persists, give russian cat a week ban since he has broken multiple rules and would follow up a previous ban since he probably can't listen
